An award winning makeup artist and a veteran of television, live performances, and bridal makeup. She loves to place as much emphasis on artist as on makeup. Her signature approach has garnered eight Emmy Awards from the National Television of Arts and Sciences.
As the key makeup artist for PBS-Detroit for the past twenty years, Amanie has worked with local and international celebrities. Her work has been seen on networks ABC, NBC, CBS, NHK Japan, as well as fashion and life-style magazines. Her extensive experience has earned her the respect of clients, producers, and photographers.
Amanie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wayne State University, and has appeared as a guest instructor at prestigious universities and Ford Motor Company. She has also served as a freelance consultant for MAC, NARS, Laura Mercier, and OLAY.
